Vision / Mission Statement

We are a body of believers committed to proclaiming salvation in Christ Jesus as we serve to bring restoration to the brokenhearted, the needy and the weak. We will guide them on the path to God-given esteem, admonishing and teaching them with all wisdom until they are complete in Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 61:1-2 “ The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be freed.”

About the Founder

Marydel  Glass was residing in the United States and felt led to return to her homeland to minister to the people of the Philippines. Having a nursing/caregiving background and knowing some of the dialects, she started in ministry by offering free medical/dental clinics, using them as a tool for evangelism.

♦ Born on February 25, 1950 ♦ Married to Janice Smith ♦ Has three children namely: Cody, Chad and Jacob ♦ President of Life Of Christ in Texas, USA; ♦ President/Chairman of SFMCC, International; ♦ An ordained and commissioned Missionary whose vision includes but not limited to overseeing the pioneering work of Churches in different island all over the Philippines; ♦ Building an institute catered to the Filipinos; ♦ Facilitates seminars for Leadership Training & Counseling Program; ♦ Has ministry in Mexico; ♦ Helps & support ministries; ♦ Has been the V President/V Chairman of The Restored Heritage for three (3) Years.

Susan G. Olano Corporate Secretary
♦ Born on December 23, 1953 ♦ Married to Celso Olano, a retired member of the Philippine National Police ♦ Has five children namely: Wilmer (34), Ian Mark (32), Ted (30), Coney Sheila (28) and Julius Celso (26); ♦ Educational Background BS in Business Administration Diploma in Biblical Studies ♦ Church Affiliation – Messiah Christian Assembly/ Assemblies of God; ♦ She has served in the different ministry such as Women’s Coordinator, Sunday School Teacher, Cell Group Leader, Benevolence, Mission and Evangelism and in the Ministry of Helps; ♦ She has been connected with the different Christian organization; ♦ She has been in the business but gave it up to work full time in the ministry; ♦ She is serving the Restored Heritage Foundation as Corporate Secretary since 2701 up to the present;

Corpin, a Minister of the Gospel ♦ Has one daughter, Charish Ann Corpin (9) ♦ Educational Background: BS in Economics Pastoral Ministry Church Planters 2 yrs Computer Programming Vocational : Culinary Arts, Food Processing, Cosmetology, Home Aid ♦ Religious Affiliation: Community Faith Christian Fellowship/Assemblies of God; ♦ A Full time Pastor of Community Faith Christian Fellowship ♦ She is the Regional Secretary of Philippine National Police/Values Formation Council (Community Transformation) since 2700 up to the present; ♦ She is also the National Trainer of Values Formation Council, Inc. and Spiritual Transformation. ♦ Has planted numerous churches since 2706 up to the present.

Kiamco ♦ Has nine children namely: ♦ Educational Background: BS in Nautical Bible Theology ♦ Religious Affiliation: Independent Ministries ministering to the Body of Christ ♦ He train and develop evangelist from different churches under the Training Center for Ministry and Evangelism with the partnership of The estored Heritage Foundation; ♦ Conduct Evangelistic Crusades ♦ He has planted five (5) churches in the different areas in Cebu, Philippines; ♦ Has been connected to the different Christian Organization.

History

Marydel Glass of Chinese parentage, born in Cebu, Philippines in 1943 was transformed as a “Born-Again” Christian and was baptized by immersion on Nov. 16, 1997 at Pomerado Christian Church , Poway, CA., USA.. Thereafter she was called into serving the Lord and was given favor by HIM to minister to the people of Visayas region. She has been witnessing the “Good News” in Cebu City for the last eleven years since the year 2000 and in addition has been serving the people of Mabini, Bohol as well for a year now since April, 2004.

Through prayer, financial support of her sending church,and some more churches whom God provides during her servant hood years, along with her circle of friends, Marydel went ahead in faith, started a foundation. The process of which was not easy but because God is in control, He provided Marydel a group of warrior both locally and abroad to make this vision a reality. Furthermore, God sent a committed sister in faith, Susan Olano to come across Marydel and use her expertise as a consultant for various documentation. .. Then more committed Christians came along to organize the Board of Trustees.

Thus THE RESTORED HERITAGE FOUNDATION INC. a non-profit organization was born in January18, 2001 with a mission statement of helping the least fortunate, neglected children; disadvantaged, abused women; unwed mothers; and restore them to a God-esteemed heritage until they are complete in Christ. Matthew 25:40 : “ I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine: you did it for ME.” (NIV)

Looking back it seems that it was only yesterday that the team consisted of Marydel Glass, Susan Olano and Remedios Go initiated the formation of the ministry while attended a birthday celebration in Manila in September, 2000.

Then on October 16, 2000 Susan Olano started inquiry from the SEC (where approval would be obtained) on what are the necessary procedures and preparation to start operating a foundation….

On November 2000, a group of Christian brethren was organized for intercessory prayer intended for the formation of the foundation..

On December 11, 2000 , the first board meeting was held, composed of 13 incorporators, five of which were elected as the Board of Directors.

Praise God, in 2001 Restored Heritage Foundation, Inc. was birthed. Evangelistic Outreaches expanded to include a Feeding Program, Discipleship Classes, and a Preschool.

A home was soon opened for abused, neglected and abandoned children, unwed mothers, and battered women. A variety of community services and a bi-weekly worship service were also offered.

In 2004 land was donated in the island of Bohol, and  within 24 months, RH built a home of Refuge, a Worship Center, and a 3-story Multi-Purpose Building.

Ministry expanded to include an even wider variety of Children’s Outreach and Educational Assistance Programs, Youth Sport, Music and Bible Study Programs, Adult Programs ranging from Livelihood Training to Leadership Seminars and Conferences for Pastors and Leaders.

Today
….the Discipleship classes have grown into a School of Ministry & Evangelism. The Outreach Program have expanded into a School Classrooms and Government Halls.

The local church is being impacted as RH now supports and enables numerous indigenous Pastors. Partnership with other ministries have been developing which has made way for even greater impact in the Cebu & Bohol regions. One joint venture is the annual Jesus Festival with churches coming  together to proclaim the lordship of Christ in their city.

The Hope
….of many is met each day as the doors of Restored Heritage are opened.

The hope of those initially coming to have physical needs met find their lives transformed forever by the Gospel of Christ. The Church is built up & encouraged as RH stands with them in ministry.
